Coronavirus kills people. There is no doubt about that. There is doubt though, around the number of people that have died around the world because of coronavirus directly. With people being suddenly put in situations that they weren’t prepared for, unexpected issues have occurred.
With this occurring there are far more people dying over in the UK around this time of the year then there usually is. 8196 more than usual since the start of coronavirus in fact, with 6546 of those deaths being unrelated to coronavirus according to an article in The Guardian. Almost 80% of these deaths are caused by conditions that aren’t related to coronavirus.
Steps need to be put in place to help those who are locked down and need help so that further issues can be stopped.
